Manchester United agree personal terms with 21-year-old target ahead of £81.5 million move

Manchester United is approaching the acquisition of Dortmund superstar Jaden Sancho, who will cost 81.5 million pounds.
According to the “Mirror” report, Manchester United has taken a step towards ensuring Sancho’s service. They have clearly reached a personal agreement with the Dortmund forward, despite the Bundesliga team insisting on acquiring their valuable talent for £81.5 million.

Manchester United was related to Sancho’s transfer a year ago, but they were unwilling to satisfy Dortmund’s 108 million pounds. However, their waiting for the game made them miss the attacker’s service, although this may change this summer, especially after another impressive season in the Bundesliga.

In fact, Sancho participated in a total of 20 Bundesliga goals last season. After a slow start to the initial season, the winger’s brilliant turn under the leadership of Edin Terzic was the main reason for Dortmund’s late push in qualifying for the Champions League and winning the German Cup.

Borussia Dortmund, though, are now in a precarious position after overseeing a significant loss in the 2020/21 financial year due to the pandemic. Although the club has the resources to keep hold of both their star players in Jadon Sancho and Erling Haaland, they will not stand in the way, should any of them opt to leave the Signal Iduna Park.

Die Schwarzgelben, in fact, have been eyeing potential replacements throughout the summer. They were recently linked with a move for Chelsea’s Callum Hudson-Odoi, although they might face stiff competition from Bundesliga rivals Bayern Munich.

The potential sale of Sancho could go a long way in helping them recover from their financial losses this past year. It will also strengthen the position of Haaland remaining at the Signal Iduna Park next season, as new coach Marco Rose hopes to work his magic on the Norwegian whizkid and indeed the entire Dortmund team.

As for Manchester United, the addition of Sancho should definitely solve Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s problems in the wide attacking department. The Englishman could be an ideal upgrade over the likes of Daniel James and Anthony Martial, who is a shock target for league rivals Tottenham Hotspur.

In the past 12 months, the Red Devils have been associated with Sancho’s multiple choices. But none of them has the same profile as the Dortmund winger. He is touted as the next important figure in English football along with Phil Foden and Mason Mount.
