At the deadline of the summer window, Manchester United and Atlanta reached an agreement to transfer Amade Diallo, and the winger is expected to reach Old Trafford in the winter market.
The Red Devils confirmed in October that the 18-year-old’s move “depends on medical treatment, personal conditions and work permits.”
Atlanta manager Gian Piero Gasperini has expressed his wishes and hopes to loan out the offence before the end of the season.
Over the weekend, Gazzetta Dello Sport explained that the player is expected to travel to England, and TuttoMercatoWeb also reported on it today.
According to TMW, Diallo “leaves to Manchester this morning” and “today will officially begin his adventure at Manchester United”.
It mentioned Gasperini’s request for the forgiveness to make a temporary transaction, but the website said it was “difficult” for Atalanta to borrow Diallo.
That’s because Ole Gunnar Solskjaer hopes to let this teenager be used, even in the next few hours, the Serie A team will “apply” for the “new loan” transfer for Diallo.
TuttoMercatoWeb concluded their report, stating that in the next few hours, all the Diallo games will become clearer until the end of the season.
No one mentioned the issue of Diallo’s obtaining a work permit. If he is qualified to represent Manchester United, it is unlikely that Atalanta will let him return to his country before the end of the season.
